Three en-suite bedrooms are tucked into quieter corners of the house, offering garden or sea views and an enveloping sense of calm. This artistic holiday house was the former home of a Cape Town gallerist, and now belongs to furniture designers from Paris and Stockholm. As a result of the owners’ keen eye for design, the interiors are appointed with standout furniture pieces. As a curated art house stay, you’ll find a mix of family heirlooms and works by prominent artists, such as Walter Batiss and Tomos, and photographers, from Obie Oberholzer to St John Fuller. Sourced from Paris flea markets and Cape Town galleries, the home’s art collection is as eclectic as it is inspired.
